Robert Ravenscroft, director, producer and photographer, NYC / LA

Robert is a producer, director, and co-founder of Pan Up Productions, where he develops work across feature films, commercials, and editorial campaigns. He came to filmmaking from an unlikely place, a finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin, which now shapes how he balances creative vision with business acumen.

In 2021, he joined AKA as Executive Producer, where he transformed its content and business affairs departments while managing a team of creatives and producers. During his tenure, he developed and produced award-winning campaigns for Funny Girl, The Met Museum, The Tina Turner Musical, Harry Potter, and A Doll’s House.

In recent years, Robert has shifted his focus increasingly toward feature filmmaking. He currently has three feature films in post-production: Jackrabbit (starring Frank Mosely and Kate Adams), Rest Assured, and Great White (starring Jon Bass, Pat Healy, and Emily Davis), along with a slate of eight additional projects in various stages of development.

His commercial work spans producing, directing, or photographing campaigns for clients including Southwest Airlines, Purina, Canon, Netflix, CLEAR, SeatGeek, Square, and Dermstore.
